Day 1: We’re off! We’ll enjoy the cool summer breezes of New England as we make our way north. We’ll overnight in near the New Hampshire-Maine border. D

Day 2: We’ll meet our expert local guide for a tour of Portland, Maine’s largest city, nestled at the tip of beautiful Casco Bay. After our tour, we’ll board the famous “Cat,” a luxurious express ferry complete with movie theater, multiple lounges and craft restaurants, gift shops, and more. We’ll arrive in Yarmouth for a relaxing overnight stay. B

Day 3: What a scenic ride through Nova Scotia as we visit Grand Pré National Historic Site, a UN World Heritage Site commemorating the area’s history of Acadian settlements and wartime deportation. Later, we’ll arrive in Halifax, where we’ll spend the next two nights. B,D

Day 4: Our local guide will join us as we explore the historic, charming neighborhoods of Halifax, home to beautifully-maintained Victorian homes, landmark modern towers, and of course the fortress of Citadel Hill and its iconic Halifax Town Clock. But the star of today’s show is sure to be the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, a theatrical celebration of the bonds of friendship that unite us all. The thrilling show features a mix of military and civilian performers from 21 countries who often spend a year or more perfecting their choreography, music, and wardrobes. You’ll see why over 2 million people around the world have flocked to this awe-inspiring event! B,D

Days 5 & 6: Beautiful Cape Breton Island is our home for two nights. The island is encircled by the incomparable Cabot Trail, a scenic byway meandering through forests and the iconic rugged coastline. We’ll explore the Trail and find out why it’s considered among the best scenic drives in the world. 2B,2D

Days 7 & 8: After breakfast we’ll enjoy the relaxing ferry ride to Prince Edward Island and our 2-night stay in Charlottetown, PEI’s cozy, bustling capital. Tonight we enjoy a production of Anne of Green Gables based on the beloved 20th century novel. On day 8, we’ll join an expert local guide for a tour of PEI, complete with a stop at the actual Green Gables farmhouse at Cavendish beach. 2B,D

Day 9: Off to New Brunswick and St. John's today as we marvel at the Bay of Fundy, known for having the largest tidal range in the world — almost 60 feet! B,D

Days 10 & 11: We’ll make our way home with a pleasant stop in northern Massachusetts en route. 2B,D
