Day 1: Enjoy fun, games, entertainment, & the famous Seniortours all-day-happy-hour “open bar” as we ride across scenic Pennsylvania today. D

Day 2: After breakfast, we’ll depart en route to the Chicago area, our home for the next 2 nights. B, D

Day 3: Today you’ll enjoy a comprehensive city tour of the Chicagoland area with an expert local guide. Known internationally as a hub for finance, manufacturing, & technology, Chicago is the 3rd largest city in the US, and the unofficial “capital” of America’s Heartland. Following a devastating fire in 1885, the city experienced what would become the largest building boom in American history, ushering in the era of the skyscraper and the distinctive “Chicago SchooL” architecture, which promoted the use of new building & development technologies. You’ll see firsthand Chicago’s many contributions to American architecture during your tour, in addition to the city’s equally impressive collection of outdoor public art and sculpture, and its many famous landmarks. For lunch on your own, why not explore some real Chicago cuisine with a slice of famous “deep dish” Chicago pizza? B

Day 4: We’re bound for the Wisconsin heartland, to “The Honeymoon Capital of the Midwest”, Wisconsin Dells. One of the most visited places in the Midwest, the city gets its name from the French word dalles, a term explorers used to describe the area’s famously picturesque, glacially-formed gorge that features striking sandstone formations along the banks of the Wisconsin River. You’ll explore the gorge aboard a scenic boat ride through the dramatic cliffs and glacial canyons rising 100 feet above the water. Tonight, try your luck at Black River Casino, nearby where we’ll be spending this evening B, D

Day 5: The “Twin Cities” of Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN, home of the incomparable Mall of America, a shopping complex so large it could house 7 Yankee Stadiums within its walls! Completed in 1992, this megamall boasts a full-size aquarium with over 4,500 sea creatures, & the largest indoor amusement park in the US, with roller coasters, restaurants, & mini golf. We’ll spend this evening in Western Minnestota. B, D

Days 6, 7, & 8: We’re heading through the rugged wild West. Later, we cross the border into Canada’s province of Manitoba, arriving at our deluxe Winnipeg hotel (home for the next 3 nights) this afternoon. The Folklorama fun begins! Folklorama is an annual festival of international culture, featuring over 1500 performances by 3,000 performers from the countries and cultures of the world. Each country has its’ own “pavilion”. Italy, Poland, Germany, Ireland, Spain and England, are favorites... but there are over 34 more multicultural pavillions, each representing a nation’s unique culture through exhilarating entertainment, captivating cultural displays and traditionally prepared cuisine— try some of the traditional foods which volunteers spend hours and hours preparing for this event! Your “passport”, included in your tour cost, gets you there. During our stay here in Winnipeg, we’ll visit Folklorama each evening, plus we’ll sightsee thru the area, including the Manitoba Museum and the new Casino. Meals included are breakfasts each morning, plus incredible multi-course dinners & entertainment at Folklorama. 3 B, 2 D
