Itinerary

B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner, S=Show

Day 1: Enjoy the spectacular foliage of upstate New York as we travel to the capital of the Empire State, beautiful Albany. Prior to checking in, we’ll visit the New York State Museum, just a few blocks from our hotel. Be sure not to miss the moving tribute to 9/11 first responders, as well as the beautiful carousel. After we check in and freshen up, we’ll reboard the coach for the short ride to dinner at Jack's Steakhouse. Since 1913 this family run eatery has hosted every governor of New York as well as other prominent politicians and celebrities. D

Day 2: Breakfast is available at your leisure from 6:30 AM. We’ll depart at 9 to head east into beautiful Massachusetts and the quintessential, picture-perfect village of Stockbridge. The Berkshires, in their autumn glory, are the perfect setting for the Norman Rockwell Museum and studio. This year marks the one hundredth anniversary of his first Saturday Evening Post cover. A special anniversary exhibition lets us explore all 323 Post covers. We'll also enjoy a visit to Rockwell's studio and a chance to see the largest collections of his works. After our visit, we'll explore the nearby village for lunch and shopping. The quaint town of Stockbridge was the home of Rockwell, America's favorite artist, for the last 25 years of his life. It's a pretty ride back to Albany where we’ll freshen prior to dinner at the Reel Seafood Company, voted Albany's favorite seafood restaurant. B,D

Day 3: After another delicious breakfast we’ll check out the foliage heading west to yet another beautiful village, Cooperstown New York. Each year some 300,000 visitors make the pilgrimage to the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum. We’ll have plenty of time to visit the museum and Hall of Fame and also the Farmers Museum and Doubleday Field, and then enjoy shopping and lunch in the quaint downtown. How about a glass of wine on our return trip to Albany? We will freshen up prior to dinner at the Albany Pump-station, a local favorite for decades. Bring your cameras to this unique Albany favorite. B,D

Day 4: We'll leave for home sweet home at 9:30 and enjoy more cocktails, snacks, and games on board the coach as we make our way home. B
